We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel or review orders, restrict certain payment or delivery methods, or limit access to our services where reasonably necessary due to suspected fraud, abuse, security concerns, repeated failed deliveries, violations of our policies, or other legitimate operational reasons.

Nothing contained within these Terms is intended to remove or restrict any rights that customers are entitled to under applicable laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

 

2. Product Availability

All products displayed on our website are subject to availability.

Adding an item to your shopping cart does not reserve the item or guarantee that it will remain available.

Although we make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate inventory information, an item may occasionally become unavailable after an order has been submitted.

Where an item cannot be fulfilled, we may contact you to arrange an appropriate alternative, remove the unavailable item from the order, issue an applicable refund or credit where appropriate, or cancel the affected order.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product photographs, descriptions, specifications, measurements, colours, features, materials, and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

However, slight variations may occur.

5. Orders & Acceptance

Submitting an order through our website represents a request to purchase the products selected.

An automated order confirmation confirms that your order has been received by our system but does not necessarily mean that it has been finally accepted, processed, or dispatched.

Orders may be reviewed before fulfilment.

We may reasonably decline or cancel an order where:

• Payment cannot be confirmed
• Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected
• Incorrect or incomplete customer information was submitted

Where advance payment has already been received for an order that we cannot fulfil, an appropriate refund or alternative arrangement will be made.

8. Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery is available for eligible customers, orders, and locations.

COD is provided as a convenience and may not be available for every delivery address.

Advance payment may be required for locations involving circumstances such as:

• Unsafe or hazardous road conditions
• Restricted vehicle access
• Remote or difficult-to-access areas
• Security concerns
• Locations considered unsafe for the delivery driver
• Other circumstances that make COD delivery impractical

Customers who repeatedly refuse confirmed orders, deliberately ignore delivery communications, provide misleading delivery information, or repeatedly fail to accept deliveries may have their COD privileges restricted or removed.

Future orders from such customers may require advance payment.

9. Shipping & Local Delivery

Trini Necessities currently provides local delivery throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

Delivery may be fulfilled through approved third-party courier services, TTPost, or another delivery arrangement offered by us.

We do not currently offer worldwide or international shipping.

Delivery timeframes provided on our website are estimates and are not guaranteed arrival dates.

Delivery may occasionally be affected by traffic, weather, flooding, road conditions, courier scheduling, public holidays, vehicle difficulties, incorrect customer information, security concerns, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

10. Missed or Refused Deliveries

Customers are responsible for making reasonable arrangements to receive their orders.

Where delivery has been attempted and the customer is unavailable or unreachable, additional attempts may be made in accordance with our Shipping & Local Delivery Policy.

Repeated missed deliveries, refusing confirmed COD orders without reasonable notice, deliberately ignoring the courier, or placing orders without a genuine intention to complete the purchase may result in:

• Cancellation of the order
• Additional delivery charges where applicable
• Restrictions on future orders
• Removal of COD privileges
• Advance payment being required for future purchases

These measures help prevent misuse of our delivery services and unnecessary costs to our business and delivery partners.

 

11. Order Changes & Cancellations

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to request a change or cancellation.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests; however, changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed once an order has been processed, packed, personalized, engraved, dispatched, or transferred to a delivery provider.

Special-order, customized, engraved, personalized, or otherwise altered products may be subject to additional restrictions.

 

12. Returns, Exchanges, Refunds & Warranty

Returns, exchanges, refunds, store credits, and warranty claims are governed by our applicable Refund, Exchange & Warranty Policy.

Eligibility may depend on the type of product, reason for the request, condition of the item, and the amount of time that has passed since delivery or collection.

Customers are encouraged to inspect their products promptly after receiving them and notify us of any suspected defect or incorrect item within the applicable policy period.

Nothing contained within our store policies is intended to remove any mandatory consumer right or remedy available under applicable law.

 

13. Personalized & Engraved Products

Certain products may be personalized, customized, or engraved at the customer’s request.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all information submitted for personalization, including names, dates, initials, spelling, wording, and other requested details.

Once customization or engraving has begun, the order generally cannot be changed or cancelled unless otherwise agreed by Trini Necessities.

Personalized products may not qualify for a standard exchange solely because of a change of mind.

Where an error is caused by Trini Necessities or the product supplied is defective, the matter will be reviewed in accordance with our applicable policies.

 

14. Product Use & Safety

Customers are responsible for using products according to their intended purpose and following any instructions, warnings, electrical requirements, age recommendations, or safety information provided with the product.

Where appropriate, products intended for children should be used with suitable adult supervision.

To the extent permitted by law, Trini Necessities is not responsible for damage resulting from improper use, negligent handling, unauthorized modification, improper installation, unsuitable electrical connections, failure to follow instructions, or use of a product for a purpose for which it was not intended.

• TTPost

Warehouse & Pickup Notice

Our physical address is located within a private industrial complex.

Customer pickups are available; however, this location is not a retail store or walk-in shop.

For security purposes, visitors are required to complete the applicable security check before entering the complex.

Customers wishing to collect an order must contact Trini Necessities in advance before arriving so that their information can be registered with security and access can be arranged.
